Friday lunch with the colleagues led us to this place located in the East of Singapore - Changi. Drove down to NSRCC, Sea Sports Centre, and lunched at this place called Belly View Cafe. It was the first time that we were there for all of us at this al-fresco zichar place. It was my first time having 'zichar' in the daytime.
Belly View Cafe is located facing the sea, thus one gets to enjoy the sea breeze and the scenic view of the vast sea. Not forgetting as it is very near the Singapore Changi Airport, you get to hear the engine sounds of the air places that are flying overhead. I think it will be a nice place to go at night... Reminded me of the now-defunct 'Shore Restaurant' (where 'Gurame Indonesian Restaurant' is situated at now; Which I liked going there and thought that the place was really romantic and offered food choices at good pricing).

What we ordered....
Fried Chicken Wings
Beancurd.
With more ingredients inside, like carrots, prawns, etc.
Beans
Whole Fish Assam
The assam was not that nice. Fish was fresh though.
Apparently, this is one of their signature dishes.
Fish Curry
Alot of us agreed that the curry was delicious.
For someone like me who doesn't like curry fish, I felt that this was yummy!

Salted Egg Prawns... DELICIOUS!!!!
Another dish of veggie... Kang Kong?
Claypot Beancurd with Vegetables
After lunch, we started taking some group shots at the deck.
While there, I took photos of the sea view.
I plan to visit this place again, but for dinner. Hopefully it will be as quiet, and probably with some dim lighting and music. If not for our table that had so much laughter and conversation, the place would be romantic even for lunch. But of course, you have to take into consideration of Singapore's hot and humid weather. When I was at the deck area, I noticed that there were trees that acted as shades, as well as the sea breeze. Thus, I wouldn't think it will be that hot afterall. But to each its own! :)
A simple outfit for Friday work.
Have a great weekend, people! :)
